A brilliant spell of spin bowling by Sajid Khan has given Pakistan a realistic chance of winning the second Test match against Bangladesh. The off-spinner bagged 6-35 to reduce the host to 76-6 at stumps on Day 4.

In a video released by the Pakistan Cricket Board where Sajid is being interviewed by Shaheen Shah Afridi, the 28-year-old lauded captain Babar Azam for showing faith in him. He said, "Captain Babar Azam trusted me to bowl with the new ball I gave my best."

Pakistan skipper was forced to bring the spinners in to attack with on-field umpires deeming light to be not enough for pacers to bowl.

Sajid dismissed debutant Mahmudul Hasan Joy and Shadman Islam to send jitters in the opposition pavilion. The off-spinner then trapped the experienced  Mushfiqur Rahim in front of the stumps for just 5.

The centurion from the last Test Liton Das handed a catch to Sajid on 6 while the set Najmul Hossain (30) got one that turned back sharply.

On being asked about his wicket-taking celebration, Sajid said It's a new celebration just like you [Shaheen] have it.

Sajid is hopeful that Pakistan can win the Test match, "We will try to take the remaining three wickets as well and pave the way for the win."

Bangladesh still trail by 224 runs in their first innings and needs 25 more runs to save themselves from follow-on.
