Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) have accepted the proposal by New Zealand Cricket (NZC) to tour the country early next year for a white-ball series, it was stated in various media reports.

According to the details, the proposed series could either consist of five T20Is or three ODIs.

The series is most likely to be played in the second week of January next year, after Pakistan conclude their Test tour of Australia.

The slot will suit New Zealand, who have to take on South Africa in their home series afterwards.

New Zealand had previously toured Pakistan at the end of last year for two Tests and three ODIs. New Zealand then returned to Pakistan for the white-ball leg, where they featured in five T20Is and as many ODIs.
